About us

I have always loved color—bright, bold, unexpected, and everywhere. From the vibrant wildflowers in a pasture to the deep, rich tones of a sunset over the hills, color has been a constant source of joy and inspiration in my life. It shapes the way I see the world and is at the heart of everything I create.

My story begins outdoors—surrounded by rolling fields, sun-soaked pastures, and the rhythm of ranch and rodeo life. I grew up riding horses, exploring trails, and learning to read the land long before I ever imagined turning my love of nature into a career. Being outside wasn’t just something I did—it was the lens through which I experienced the world.

I was raised in a family of arborists, horticulturalists, and lifelong plant-and-animal enthusiasts, so understanding and respecting the natural world came naturally. From a young age, I learned how landscapes work, how trees and plants thrive, and how deeply our lives are connected to the environment we grow up in.

As an adult, my husband and I have been married for 20 years, and together we have raised three boys. Our family life has been deeply intertwined with the outdoors—riding, exploring, and sharing a love of nature that started in my own childhood. That same passion and energy informs the work I do every day.

Professionally, I owned and operated my own landscaping company for more than ten years, combining hands-on work, creativity, and a deep respect for the land. Designing and maintaining landscapes felt like a natural extension of the lessons I learned growing up outdoors, and every project became an opportunity to honor the spaces people call home.

Along the way, I also pursued a new skill: I took classes on using epoxy in remodeling work, learning techniques for countertops, floors, and showers. That experience gave me a new understanding of resin and taught me the precision and care required to work with epoxy materials. Eventually, I realized I could bring these two passions together—my love of plants and flowers with the epoxy skills I had learned—to create preserved botanical art.

I started creating framed botanical pieces and floral preservation projects, combining resin techniques with the natural beauty of flowers. What began as gifts for friends soon grew into a business. A local market invited me to vend, and I nearly sold out—a moment that sparked the vision for turning my craft into a professional venture.

From there, I refined my techniques, built my brand, and embraced the challenges of entrepreneurship. The grit, resilience, and problem-solving skills I gained from years of ranch life, riding, and running my landscaping company proved invaluable. Each preserved bloom reminds me why I chose this path, and every season teaches me something new about both my craft and myself.

I never imagined I would become both an artist and a business owner, yet I can’t imagine my life any other way. I’m grateful for the clients who trust me with their most meaningful flowers, the community of florists, farmers, and artists who inspire me, and my own family who shares in the joys and challenges of this life. My hope is that my journey encourages others to follow their passions—because with patience, heart, and dedication, you can create something beautiful, meaningful, and lasting.
